Comparison
Cardline vs Popl
Popl sells taps: cards, tags, and wearables with a platform attached. That is a real strategy and it works well at events. This page is about what changes when the hardware is the part you would rather not buy, ship, or replace.
Choose Popl if…
- Physical NFC products are central to how you want to hand over details.
- You run high-volume events where tapping a phone beats scanning a code.
- You want a single vendor for accessories and software.
Choose Cardline if…
- You want zero hardware logistics — QR, link, and wallet pass cover it.
- You are replacing cards for people who lose things, and a reprint should be free.
- You want per-seat software pricing without accessory upsells.
What Popl does better
- Popl's hardware range and build quality are the best in the category, and tap-to-share genuinely converts at events.
- Their lead-capture flows for trade shows are more developed than ours.

Moving from Popl
Export team members from Popl as CSV and import into Cardline. If your Popl hardware is re-writable, point the tags at your new Cardline URLs and keep using them — you are not obliged to throw the taps away.
