Digital business cards for events, conferences and trade shows

A stand collects two hundred conversations in three days and loses most of them to a stack of paper. Cardline gives every person on the stand a card that saves to the visitor's phone in one tap, and gives you the save rate per person and per day while the show is still running.

Who it fits

Built for events teams that hand out cards weekly

  • Exhibitors running stands with rotating staff and partners

  • Conference organisers issuing cards to speakers and crew

  • Event agencies staffing activations with temporary teams

What is different here

The parts of a card system that only matter in events

Everything else — save flow, wallet pass, permanent link — is the same product every customer gets.

Temporary staff, provisioned for the length of the show

Stand hosts, translators and brand ambassadors are often hired for three days. Import them from the staffing sheet, activate on setup day, revoke on teardown.

Import → 204 rows read, 199 mapped, 5 flagged for review.

Wallet pass instead of a business-card stack

The visitor adds the pass next to their event ticket, which is exactly where they look when they get home and try to remember who they spoke to on stand 4B.

Apple and Google Wallet passes on Team plans and above.

Save rate per person, per day

Views tell you the QR was scanned. Saves per view tell you the conversation landed. Broken down by staff member and by day, you can fix a briefing on the morning of day two.

Analytics → saves per view, by person, by day, by channel.

Objections

What teams push back on first

Answered as we would answer it on a call, including where the answer is no.

Venue wifi is unreliable.

The card is a lightweight page and the contact save is handled by the phone itself. It is a far smaller ask of a congested network than a lead-capture app.

We already rent a badge scanner.

Different job. The scanner captures the visitor for you; Cardline puts your team's details on the visitor's phone. Most stands need both, and only one of them is included in the stand fee.

No attendee-conversion statistics are quoted here, because they would be borrowed. Your own per-day save rate is the measurement.
